Jeanette Smith, born on 6 Dec 1878 in Manhattan, NY, was the first child of Edwin S Smith and Agnes Bryden. The family hasn't been found in the 1880 census, and by 1900 Jeanette was no longer living at home with her parents. The first census listing she has been clearly identified is her 1930 listing in Neptune twp, Monmouth co., NJ, by which time she was married to her second husband Everett Beauvais, where the couple were again in 1940. Sometime around 1901, she married John Jefferies, allegedly an Irish native, but whom no documentation has been found. It isn't known when John died, but it was apparently before about 1927, when Jeanette married second a man 23 years her junior, Everett Beauvais. John and Jeanette only had one known child Helen. Like her mother Helen hasn't been identified in census records until 1930, by which time she was married to Leonard Becker and living in North Bergen, Hudson county, NJ.
