George E. Beaulieu, 82, died Tuesday, (February 12, 2002) at U Mass Memorial Hospital, Marlboro, MA. He was the husband of Sally A. (Carroll) Cochran Beaulieu.
He was born in Boston, MA, son of Napoleon and Mary (Dube) Beaulieu. He was the husband of the late Mary (Scally) Beaulieu. He is survived by his daughter, Carol and her husband Joseph Jacobs of Hudson, MA; and his son, Paul and his wife, Mary Beaulieu of South Windsor; stepfather of David and Stephan Cochran of Marlboro, MA, Kevin Cochran of Oxford, MA, Michael Cochran of Lunenburg, MA, Diane Fournier of Maryland, Catherine Oram of Marlboro, MA; 19 grandchildren. He was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.
He was a Army veteran of World War II. He was a graduate of Brighton High School in Boston, MA.
Mr. Beaulieu was a captain at the fire dept at Hanscom Air Base in Bedford, MA, before retiring in 1972. A member of the International Association of Firefighters. He was a communicant of Christ the King Church, Hudson, MA, a member of the Hudson Lodge of Elks.
His funeral will be held Friday, from the Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., on Rte. 62, exit 26, off 495, Hudson, MA, with a funeral mass at 9 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 48 Central St., Hudson, MA.
Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Hudson, MA. Visiting hours are Thursday, 5-8 p.m. Published in The Hartford Courant on February 13, 2002
