A native of Washington County, she had lived in Baxley for many years before moving to Jacksonville 30 years ago. She was a member of the Church of God of Prosperity and was the widow of Walter A. Beasley.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Faustine Jewell and Mrs. Evelyn Jordan, both of Jacksonville, and Mrs. Hilda Jordan, Waycross; a son, James L. Beasley, Brunswick; a sister, Mrs. Lula Mae Crapps, Fernandina Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Asbury United Methodist Church near Baxley. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
