James Beasley, 69, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 27, 2009, at his home in Bowling Green, Virginia.
He leaves to cherist his memory, three daughters, Bushay Brown, Cheryl Dabney and Letitia Beasley; five sons, James O. Beasley, Jr., the Rev. Jared Beasley, Rodney Beasley, Anthony Beasley, and Ashley O. Beasley; two sisters, three brothers; fourteen grandchildren, one great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, July 31, 2009 at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 21180 Bagby Road, Sparta, VA 22552 with the Rev. Gregory Howard delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
Viewing will be from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, Bowling Green, VA and one hour before the service on Friday at the Church.
