Born in Unnau, Westerwald, Hesse, Prussia, Saxony the daughter of Johannes Martin Boughner and Elisabeth Maria "Elsa" Zehrung. She was married ca. 1756 in New Jersey to Jacob Beam, future founder of Beamsville, Ontario. They were the parents of 11 children. She died in Ancaster Twp., Wentworth Co., Ontario in 1820.
