Born in Van Horn, Missouri, she came to Lincoln when a young girl, and was educated in Lincoln public schools and the University of Nebraska.
Miss Beach was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church; of Nebraska Society of Mayflower Descendants; of Deborah Avery chapter; Daughters of the American Revolution, of which she was recording secretary; of Beta Zeta Chautauqua circle; of Hall in the Grove, of which she was historian; of Axis Club and Professional Women's Club; and of many social clubs.
For many years she had been private secretary to W. E. Straub, president of the Farmers Mutual Insurance company.
Surviving is her only sister, Mrs. Warren J. Byer, of Lincoln.
