Mrs. Ernestine Williams Bazemore, 90 of Savannah passed Wednesday afternoon, January 15, 2020 at the Spanish Oaks Retreat.

The Screven County native was born to the late Lloyd Newman and Minnie Ada Scott Williams. She was a lifelong member of the Friendship Baptist Church and was a graduate of the Jackson High School. After graduation she wed her husband and they had two children. After their births she and her family resided in Savannah, GA. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Moreland Otto “M.O.” Bazemore.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law; Marcia and Paul Longwater of Savannah and Lynn and Richard Harsey of Middleburg, FL; grandchildren, Matt and Lisa Hutton of Rising Star, TX and Melissa Hutton of Savannah; great grandchildren, Noah Hutton and Harper Hutton of Rising Star, TX; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 11:00am in the Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Wall officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:30 until service time.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Roger Heath, Michael Thompson, Thomas Bazemore, Bryan Lewis, Paul Longwater, and Richard Harsey,.
