Linda lived most of her life in Montgomery, Alabama. She did however live in both Odessa and Houston, Texas mainly during the 1980's. Her parents were Gordon LaBarron Baxter (buried in Montgomery, AL) and Clara Mae (Acreman) Popwell (buried in Clanton, AL). Robert (Bob) Popwell (buried in Clanton, AL) was her step-father. Her son's are Larry Hitson, Jr. (currently of Navarre, FL) and Tommy Hitson (currently of Tallassee, AL) from her first marriage to Larry Hitson, Sr. Linda lost a child, Linda Camille, who was stillborn. Grandchildren are Larry Hitson III, Dexter Hitson and Mallory Hitson. She has a great-grandchild named Orion Hitson whose father is Larry Hitson III. Her sister's are Lenore Baxter Meyer and Jane Baxter Chism. Lenore and Jane currently reside in Clanton, AL.
