Mrs. Lynn Connor, 96, of Bryan passed away Saturday morning at St. Joseph Regional Health Center. She was born in the Rock Prairie Community of Bryan, TX. She attended Rock Prairie Elementary School and College Station High School. She was the owner of La Mar Beauty Shoppe of Bryan. She was a charter member of College Ave. Baptist Church, now Central Baptist Church of Bryan, where she taught a junior Sunday School class for over 60 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Horace Battle & Emma Royder Battle, two husbands: Charles Nitch, Jr. and J.E. Connor, and a brother: Doris Battle.

Survivors include her sister: Josephine Gee of Poteau OK; one nephew: Bobby Gee of McCurtain, OK; four nieces: Beverly Kidd of Tulsa, OK, Linda Murry of Fort Smith, AR, Phyllis Buffington and her husband Robert of Bryan, and Constance Zoller and her husband John of Troup, TX; two stepsons: Hugh "Skipper" Connor of Baltimore, MD and Jack Connor of Tulsa, OK.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Hillier Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hillier Funeral Home with interment in Bryan City Cemetery. Rev. Tim Skaggs will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the Central Baptist Church Building Fund.
