CHARLES BASS, 69
DAVENPORT -- Mr. Charles David Bass of Davenport died of heart failure Thursday (April 7, 2005) in Davenport. He was 69.
Born in Tifton, Ga., on Jan. 27, 1936, he came to Davenport from there in 1947. He was self - employed with Charlie Bass Inc., buying and selling aircraft parts for home-built airplanes and airboats. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Haines City.
Mr. Bass is survived by his wife, Sybail L. Bass; son, Michael Bass, Winter Haven; sister, Carol Sue Winterhoff, Orlando; three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 1001 Grace Ave., Haines City. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City.
