Mrs. Catherine Barto aged 96/4/16 died on Tuesday July 17th at the residence of her daughter Mrs. Mary Bartlow of Penn township. Mrs. Barto was one of the oldest residents in the county & up to her death was in remarkably good health. About 20 years ago her husband Daniel Barto died. Five children survive her: Mrs. Sarah Day of Picture Rocks, John G Barto, Mrs. Anna Forney, Jacob Barto & Mrs. Mary Bartlow widow of the late Richard Bartlow. There are 2 children dead: George & Samuel. The funeral took place on Wednesday with burial in the Mt, Zion Cemetery.
