Leroy Clinton Barrick, secretary
to the firm of S. W.
Barrick and Sons, Woodsboro,
died Monday at his home.
He was a veteran of World
War II with the U.S. Army, 524
Postal Unit, serving in Africa.
He was a member of
the Glen W. Eyler Post No. 282
American Legion, Woodsboro
and a member of Loyal Order
of Moose No. 371 of Frederick.
Active in political activities in
both county and state, he was
district chairman of the Democratic
party of Woodsboro. He
also was active in civic affairs
in the community.

Born in Woodsboro, a son of
the late Leonard and Mamie
Spahr Barrick, he is survived
by his wife Mrs. Helen I. Barrick,
one step-daughter, Mrs.
Helen G. McHenry of Oakland;
and two nephews, Steven P.
Rice of Laurel and Comm. Barry
F. Tibbitts, U.S. Navy, Japan.
