Persis died in 1781 at the age of 34 and her husband, Jonas Potter, remarried to Sarah Jones. They are in the plot next to that of Persis at Old Hill Burying Ground. The daughter of Persis and Jonas Potter, Persis (Potter) Parks is also buried nearby.
