Albert Rudolph Barran, 71, died Sunday at a Huntsville hospital.
The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Paul Clutts officiating. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Barran was a native of Morgan County and a resident of Limestone County for 32 years. He attended the Round Island Baptist Church, was a retired foreman with Fluor Daniel Construction Co. and was a Merchant Marine veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Aileen Barran; three sons, Joe Barran of Huntsville, Ricky Barran and Lin Barran, both of Athens; one sister, Christine Smith of Decatur; and five grandchildren.
