A requiem mass for Mary Anne Barran Joseph, 52, of Decatur will be Friday at 9 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church. Funeral services will be at 10:30 at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Culotta officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight fromm 6 to 8 at the funeral home, preceded by a rosary service at 5:30.
Mrs. Joseph died Wednesday, February 11, 1998, at her home. She was born October 28, 1945, in Decatur. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, the Northwest Deanery Diocese Council of Catholic Women and the St. Ann Altar Solality.
She was a graduate of Decatur High School and David Lipscomb College and a member of the Kappa Delta sorority at Auburn University. She also was a member of the Ladies Chamber of Commerce and was vice president of Brookemeade Garden Club.
Mrs. Joseph is survived by her husband, John Joseph III; two sons, John Joseph IV and Charles Anthony Joseph, both of Decatur; her mother, Martha Barran of Decatur; two brothers, Lee Barran Jr of Decatur and John R. Barran of Huntsville; and her grandmother, Annie Gale Rochelle of Athens.
Pallbearers will be Emmett Lee Barran III, George Arthur Barran, Toby Joseph, T.J. Joseph, Steve Wright and John C. Eyster.
