Mr. Charles Forrest Barr, 86, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2007.

Mr. Barr was born on April 22, 1920 in Morrow, Georgia. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins where he attended the Wesley Sunday School Class and was a member of the United Methodist Men Group. Mr. Barr graduated from Crawford County High School and Young Harris College. Forrest was a proud veteran of the United States Army where he served during WWII. He retired from the City of Warner Robins as a Financial Office Manager. His parents, Samuel Walter and Ethel Clyde Mays Barr, and brothers, Walter Alton Barr, Hugh Dorsey Barr, and John Raymond Barr, all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his loving wife, Doris Pyles Barr, Warner Robins; sons and daughters-in-law, Forrest Anthony Barr (Cindy), Apopka, FL; Charles Bruce Barr (Roberta), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Forrest Britt Barr (Jenny), Largo, FL; Anthony Ryan Barr, Atlanta; Janna Nicole Barr, Warner Robins; Forrest Reid Barr, Largo, FL; sisters, Maylise B. White, Cugette Christopher (Lamar), all of Warner Robins; sisters-in-law, Vivian McDaniel (Walter), Athens; Mary Frances Redmond, Meigs; Winnie Adair, Powder Springs; Lillian Pyles, Beatrice Pyles, both of Macon; Estelle Pyles, Fort Valley; Nora Pyles, Roberta; brother-in-law, Holmes Pyle (Ann), Decatur; and special niece, Gay Faircloth (Tee), Macon.

Visitation will be Friday one hour prior to the service at First United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2007 at First United Methodist Church in Warner Robins. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church T.V. Ministry 205 N. Davis Drive Warner Robins, GA 31093.
