Jerry W. Barnett, 83, of Chattanooga passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at his home.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He attended the Covenant Baptist Church, 3502 Dayton Blvd. Red Bank, TN and enjoyed playing golf.
Preceded in death by his parents, Henry “Pie” and Cora Lee Barnett.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Barnett, son, Larry (Rhonda) Barnett, sister, Norma Jackson, brother, Doyle Barnett, grandchildren, Amber Power, Cody Barnett, Chris Barnett and Maddie Barnett.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, Soddy-Daisy, TN with the Rev. Gladden Coe officiating.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Brother Pat Brown officiating.
The family will receive friends on Sunday June 14, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home in Soddy-Daisy, TN.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Covenant Baptist Church building fund, 3502 Dayton Blvd. Red Bank, TN.
