Elizabeth J. Phillips married William N. Barnes in Fannin County, Georgia on 25 Dec 1879. In 1920 she lived with her son, G.Chalmers Barnes in Jacksonville, FL. Chalmers died later in 1920. In her later years Elizabeth lived with her daughter and son-in-law, George Lon and Millie B. Wade, in Atlanta before spending the last few months of her life at the state hospital in Milldegeville, Ga. She died in 1950 in Milledeville and was buried beside her husband in the Crawford Cemetery in Blue Ridge, GA.
