George H. Bargenquast, 1215 Shiocton St., New London, age 79, passed away Tuesday evening after a lingering illness. He was born November 26, 1886 in New Holstein [to John Peter and Anna Beyer Bargenquast] and lived in the New London area for the past 20 years. Mr. Bargenquast was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of New London.

Survivors are his wife, Emma; two sons, Henry and Glenroy, both of Oshkosh; two brothers, Clarence, Fond du Lac and Hugo, Abbotsford; one sister, Mrs. Edward Bahrs, New Holstein. Also survived by seven step-children and 6 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Cline and Hanson Funeral Home, New London with burial in Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh. Rev. Richard C. Schroeder will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday until time of services. (
