Mrs. Anguish was born Jan. 10, 1940 in Syracuse, the daughter of M. Watson and Narcissa L. (Turney) Bardwell. Ina had been a resident of Poplar Ridge Fire since 1971, and was the widow of Philip C. Anguish, who passed away May 1, 2016. She and Philip had been married for 52 years. Ina was a social member of the Polar Ridge Fire Company. She was devoted to her family, to her Newfoundland dogs, and to her cat, Simon.
Surviving, are her three sons, Timothy (Kathleen) of Mich., Peter (Kimberly) of Poplar Ridge, and Douglas (Rebekah) of Tenn., seven grandchildren: Evan, Paul, Rachel, Katelyn, Zachary, Hailey, and Anthony, and a dear friend, Pat Schmidt.
The family will receive friends at the Poplar Ridge Fire Station (2423 Route 34 B) on Friday, January 6, from 2 to 5 pm. A private graveside service will be held in West Genoa Cemetery, King Ferry, at the convenience of the family.
