Obituary
Mary Gunter Bardonner
Mrs. Mary Gunter Bardonner was born in Germany March 29, 1839, and when a few months old her parents came to this country and settled in Dekelb county, Indiana. On april 20, 1856, she was united in marriage to Peter Bardonner and to live near Cicero where she resided the rest of her life. She had been in failing health for several years, yet death came unexpectedly early Friday morning Sept 24, 1909. Her husband departed this life more than ten years ago. She leaves a sister, and brother and many relatives and friends to miss her kind words and cheerful presence.
The funeral was conducted by Rev. Popp Sunday morning at the Lutheran church here, of which church she was a faithful member and earnest worker. Interment was at the Lutehran cemetery east of town.
