Lucienne Rioux 1912-2008
At the Grand Falls General Hospital, April 2, 2008, Mrs. Lucienne Rioux of Drummond passed away at the age of 95 years. She was the wife of the late Normand Rioux. Born at Drummond in 1912, she was the last surviving child of the late Cyrille and Virginie (Levesque) Bard.
Mrs Rioux was a member of the “Club des Vrais Amis” of Grand Falls.
She is survived by three sons, Cyril (Angelina) and Gerard (Virginie) of Drummond and Daniel (Jacqueline) of Saint-Andre, one daughter, Lucille Rioux of Grand Falls, daughter-in-law, Stella Rioux (late Joseph) of Grand Falls, son-in-law, Bertrand Morin (late Cecile) of Drummond, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Joseph and one daughter, Cecile Morin.
Resting at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Her funeral will be held Saturday, April 5th at 2 p.m. from the Saint-Michel Roman Catholic Church, Drummond, with interment in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Grand Falls Regional Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
