John William (J.W.) Barber, 61, Walnut, died Jamuary 11, 1987 in NMMC in Tupelo. He was a Baptist. Services were January 13, at 1 pm in McBride Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Little Hope Cemetery. Bro William Eaton officiated. Survivors include his cousin, Mrs. Voler Bates, Walnut, who he has lived with the past 23 years; four brothers, Marlin Barber and Billy Barber, both of Ripley, Ray Barber, Walnut and Harhold ((Bud) Barber, Southaven; two sisters, Sally Barnes and Fannie Ira Paul, both of Ripley. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Louisianna Barber.
