Annie Laura Janda Baranowski was born November 21, 1924 in LaGrange, Texas and passed away June 20, 2011 at the age of 86. She is preceded in death by husband Tony Baranowski; parents Fred Janda and Pauline Heine Janda; infant daughter: Marie Ann; brothers: William, Fred, and Robert Janda; sisters: Elsie Stolle, Edna Wernecke, and Lillian Kana. She is survived by 3 children: Carol Melnar and husband Dennis, Janice Baranowski, Tony Baranowski and wife Sheila; 6 grandchildren: Darren & wife Krista Melnar, Brad & wife Natalie Melnar, Kari & husband Luke Thormann, Derek & wife Kelley Baranowski, Ashley Baranowski and partner Richard Davis, Megan Baranowski and partner Jeff Atkinson; 9 great-grandchildren: Audrey Melnar and Lilly Thormann, Harley and Colt Baranowski, Peyton and Kendall Simpson, and Shelby Lynn Davis, Kiley and Rylan Atkinson; 2 step great-grandchildren: Bryce Hanna and Tessa Russell; 2 sisters: Lorine Kulhanek and Dorothy Will and numerous other relatives. Pallbearers: Darren Melnar, Derek Baranowski, Brad Melnar (grandsons), Walter Stolle, Larry Janda, Dennis Janda, Ted Wernecke, and Paul Kana (nephews). Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 in the Oak Room of Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2011 at St. Edwards Catholic Church, 2601 Spring Stuebner Rd, Spring, Texas, 77373 (281) 353-9774. Rite of Committal will be at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice would be appreciated
