Charlie Banks, 52, of Dardanelle died Tuesday, March 23, at Arkansas Heart Hospital at Little Rock.
He was born Sept. 22, 1951, in Russellville, son of the late Ben Banks, a graduate of Arkansas Tech University with a degree in geology and a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He attended Mount Carmel Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his mother, Cora Banks of Dardanelle; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert Wayne and Linda Banks of Dardanelle; a nephew; a great-nephew; a great-niece; and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Humphrey Chapel by Carlton Bowden and the Rev. Jared Higginbotham. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery at Dardanelle by Humphrey Funeral Service.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
