Jackie Banker, 59, of Honey Grove, TX passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 as the result of an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2012 at the Honey Grove Church of Christ. Mr. Preston Boles will officiate with Rev. Terry Cunningham assisting. Burial will follow at Allens Point Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Keith Hamil, Chase Banker, Garrett Banker, Dale Day, Clint Day and Chabon Williamson.
Family visitation will be Sunday, April 01, 2012 at the Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel from 7-8:00 p.m.
Jackie Steven Banker was born Oct. 25, 1952 in Bonham, Texas to parents, Clarice Ennis and Willie Faye (Thompson) Banker. He married Sharen Blasingame April 6, 1973 in Bonham, Texas. He was employed in maintenance for the Savoy, TX ISD.
Jackie was preceded in death by his mother Willie Faye, and his brother, Sammy Banker.
Mr. Banker is survived by his loving wife, Sharen of the home, sons; Steven Banker of Honey Grove and Lee Banker and wife Heather of Honey Grove; 4 grandchildren,; Chabon, James, Lucas and Melody and one great grandchild, Viollette. He is further survived by his father, Clarice Banker of Honey Grove, sister Carol and husband Roger Knudsen of Houston, TX, brothers; Emery and wife Alice Banker of Honey Grove, Danny Banker of Honey Grove, Johnny Banker of Honey Grove and Bill and wife Valerie Banker of Honey Grove.
