"DEATH OF MRS. BANGS"
"Mrs. Adah Muelling Bangs, wife of Lieutenant Bangs, who is now in the government's service in Pittsburg, died suddenly this morning at 12:30 o'clock from acute pneumonia. Lieut. and Mrs. Bangs have lived in Gulfport off and on for a number of years. The funeral will be held in Biloxi some time Monday."

"FUNERAL OF MRS. H. L. BANGS"
"The remains of Mrs. H. Leighton Bangs were carried yesterday afternoon to Biloxi for interment, accompanied by numerous relatives and friends. A brief funeral ceremony was held at her late home on east beach conducted by Father Spengler. The floral tributes were very beautiful. Mrs. Bangs was a member of the order of the Eastern Star. She was married in New Orleans five years ago, her husband later entering the employ of the government as an expert in aviation machines and was stationed in Pittsburg. Following his departure for his post, Mrs. Bangs came to Gulfport to reside with her sister, Mrs. A. H. Hughes, on east beach. Four weeks ago she contracted pneumonia and suffered a relapse a few days before she died. The pall bearer(s) were: D. M. Graham, Geo. M. Foote, Rod Heath, Vasar Anderson, T. M. Evans, J. W. Bradley."
