Albert Joseph Bandy, 80, of Leachville, died Thursday, July 17, at the Manila Nursing Center.
Born at Bay, he lived in Leachville since 1948 and had worked as a farmer at Wildy Farms, retiring after 33 years.
He was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey Bandy; three sons, A. J. Bandy, Ricky Bandy and Tim Bandy; on daughter, Lavell (Bandy) Alliston; one brother, W. A. Bandy of Bay; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ora Edward and Mary (Sanders) Bandy; six brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral services were on 2 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2003, in the chapel of Howard Funeral Service in Leachville with the Rev. William Piercy officiating.
Active pallbearers were Clarence Bibbs, Lee Bibbs, Harold Bibbs, Philip Bibbs and Mark Bibbs.
Honorary pallbearers were Earl Wildy, Paul Wildy, David Wildy, Boyce Long, Lloyd Long and Otis Long.

Visitation was on Saturday, July 19, 2003 from 6-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
