Bud Bamford
CHESHIRE — The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at First Christian Church in Junction City for E.H. "Bud" Bamford of Cheshire, who died Aug. 2 of age-related causes. He was 86. After the service, burial will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Park in Junction City.
He was born Dec. 22, 1922, in Nampa, Idaho, to Frank and Mary Bown Bamford. He married Beryl Nickerson on June 28, 1941, in Junction City.
Bamford was a logger and worked in plywood mills. He graduated from high school in Junction City.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Butch of Cheshire and Roger of Eugene; three daughters, Kay Andrews of Cottage Grove, Beryl Schmidt of Cheshire and Jean Barnard of Lewiston, Idaho; a sister, Lou Case of Lynden, Wash.; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
