SHREVEPORT, LA - Jerry R. Bamberg passed away Saturday, April 27, 2012 at the age of 82. He was preceded in death by his parents Wiley and Lillie Bamberg, four brothers and four sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Vera Bamberg, one sister, Louise Cannon (who passed away about 38 hours later), and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a Marine and retired captain of the Shreveport Fire Department.
Services were held at an earlier date at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
