Mrs. Lloyd Ballinger

East Prairie, Dec. 15.— Mrs. Amelia Belle Ballinger, 74 years old of East Prairie, died of pneumonia at 9.05 a.m. today in a hospital at Cairo, Ill. She was the wife of Lloyd Ballinger, who died in January, 1948.
Mrs. Ballinger, born May 4, 1876 in Kentucky, had been a resident of Mississippi County for 50 years. Surviving are a son, Leonard Ballinger of Charleston; three daughters. Mrs. W. L. Patrick of Carbondale, Ill., Mrs. Houston Wilborn of East St. Louis, Ill., and Mrs. William Welborn of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; a sister, Mrs. Lillie Riney of Hannibal; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Saturday at Nunnelee Funeral Home at Charleston by Rev. Orby Beard, pastor of the Christian Church at East Prairie, of which Mrs. Ballinger was a member. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
