Helen Dolores Ballesteros age 77, beloved wife of George Valles Ballesteros passed away September 17, 2014.

Helen was born in Tucson, Arizona on March 21, 1937. George and Helen met in high school and were married for 55 years. Helen was a loving wife, mother and nana. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and generous nurturing way. She was the epitome of a lady with her grace and style. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

She is survived by her husband; brother, Mike (Emma) Perez; children, George Armando (Jane) Ballesteros, Rosanna (Leonard) Schutt, Selina (Eric) Sanders and Mark Ballesteros and eight grandchildren, Raquel, Stephanie, Czarina, Nadia (Schutt), Brittney (Ballesteros), Lauren, Hannah and Sophia (Sanders).

She is preceded in death by parents, Refugio and Pantaleon Perez and sister, Esperanza Mata.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 22, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY (South Chapel) 240 S. Stone Ave., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Tuesday, September 23, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church, 801 N. Grande Ave. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.

A special thanks to the caregivers that offered kind support to her husband during Helen's illness.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Southwestern Chapter of the
