Larry Frank Ball, the son of Leonard Robert and Ann (Schweitzer) Ball, was born August 6, 1952 in Emporia. He married Judy Crumb in Emporia on June 1, 1974. She survives of the home.
Other surviving members of the family include: four sons, Jason Ball of Olathe, Kansas, Aaron Ball and Tyler Ball, both of Kansas City, Kansas, and Derek Ball of Emporia; a brother, Wayne L. Ball of Ankeny, Iowa; a sister, JoAnn Stack of Overland Park, Kansas; and four grandchildren.
Larry had worked at Modine Manufacturing in Emporia. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Emporia, celebrated by Fr. Rich Warsnak of the church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Emporia.
Memorial contributions to Sacred Heart Catholic School may be sent in care of the funeral home.
