Death has again carried away one of the oldest residents of Weems, Mrs. Mamie Davis Ball. We extend our sympathy to her children and all other relatives.

Deaths

BALL - Mrs. Mamie James Ball of Weems, Va., wife of the late William Alexander Ball, died Saturday, August 26. She is survived by three sons, Winter Henry Davis of Weems, William Lawrence Ball of Kilmarnock, Dr. Warner James Ball of Kenbridge; and one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Ball Timbs of Weems; three stepdaughters, all of Weems, Miss Bernice Ball, Mrs. Annie Ball Headley, and Miss Helen Ball; and two stepsons, Archibald Ball, Ridley Park, Pa. and Durward Jacksonville, Dremel Hill, Pa.; three grandchildren. The remains rest at the residence in Weems, where funeral services will be held Tuesday, at 11 a.m., with interment in Campbell Memorial Presbyterian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
