Mrs. Florence Lemon Ball, widow of James Ball of this county, died Monday night, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Georgia Wilshire, of Newport. She had lived in Owen County most her life.
In addition to her sister, she is survived by a step-daughter, Mrs. Lula Morgan, Carrollton; a step-son, Carl Ball, Worthville; and a number of nieces, nephews and grand children.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the Smith funeral home, Newport, with Rev. H. L. Green, pastor of the Owenton Baptist church officiating. Burial was in Salem church near Cull.
