Agnes Ahola Baldwin, age 96, died on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at her home in Gulfport, FL. After living in Crozet, VA for 45 years, she moved to Midlothian VA in 1996 and then to Gulfport, FL in 1998. She retired as a Public Health Nurse from the Albemarle-Charlottesville Health Department in 1978. Survivors include son, Bruce Charles Baldwin and his wife Tracy of Gulfport, FL and Lake Lure, NC; grandsons Scott Alan Baldwin of Dunedin, FL, Jeffery Bruce Baldwin along with his wife, Renee, of Midlothian, VA and Brian Lee Baldwin of Richmond, VA. Also a great grandson, Jacob Graham Baldwin, of Midlothian, VA and a great granddaughter, Madison Kalle Baldwin, of Dunedin, FL. Her sister, Helen Ahola Marceau and numerous nieces and nephews live throughout New England. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Irving Baldwin and son Garth Jeffery Baldwin.
In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated and there will be no formal memorial services. She will be interned at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Greenwood, VA in a private service with family members.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Suncoast Hospice in Clearwater, FL.
