Rev. Jim House conducted services for Mrs. Josephine Bailey, 74, Saturday, May 23, at the First Baptist church. Interment was in Green Hill cemetery under the direction of Bahner Funeral Home. Mrs. Bailey died May 21 at Arbuckle Memorial Hospital, Sulphur. She had been ill three months.

Mrs. Bailey was born June 11, 1889, in Limestone county, Tex., and had lived in Davis since 1917. Her husband, J. T. Bailey, died a few months ago.

Pallbearers were Klein Poole, Herman Watson, Roy Oakley, Doyle Dalley, Hubert Oakley, and Albert Crumb.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Rosa Mooney of Freeport, Tex.; four sons, Trice of Arlington, Tex., Charlie, Wesley and Albert, all of Mesa, Ariz.; one sister, Mrs. R. S. Stubblefield, 48 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
