Sgt. Sylvester Baker, 38, of Lincoln, died Monday at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas.
He had been stationed at Camp Wolters, Tex., and had been in the Army 20 years.
Funeral and burial will be in Lincoln.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia; parents, Albert B. and Mary Baker of Lincoln; sister , Mrs. Tillie Keck of Chicago; brothers, Kenneth of California, Ray of Kansas and Bruce of Lincoln; stepmother, Mary Jane Baker of Lincoln; stepbrothers, Loren D. Baker of Ft. Knox, Ky., Paul D. Baker of Lincoln and Alan Ossowski of Hawaii; stepsisters, Mrs. Esther Fagler and Rosalie Baker, both of Lincoln.
