Maxine was born in Hughes County, the 1st of 12 children (including three infants), born to John Alfred Terry Boyd (1884-1959) and Mary Katherine Webb (1883-1961). She married N. W. "Norman" BAKER (1918-1995) who was the son William Franklin "Willie Baker" (1897-1966) and Nannie Mae Timmons (1898-1918). The couple had two sons. Maxine died in Dallas, Texas at the age of 68.

We often think of bygone days
When we were together.
The family chain is broken now,
But memories will live forever,
To us, she has not gone away,
Nor has she traveled far,
Just entered God's eternal home
And left the gate ajar.
