Services for James Harlon Baker, 76, will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brothers Donnie McCartney, Ronnie McClure, and Jacob Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Green (Camp Ground) Cemetery near the Holly Leaf Community. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 2, 2013 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 10:00 am until service time. Mr. Baker, an Operator for Consolidated Aluminum in New Johnsonville and former employee of Gaines Manufacturing Company, died Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. He was born on November 4, 1937 in Gibson County, Tennessee to Alton and Rodella Mann Baker. He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and served nine years in Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents.
