Born in Berlin, NH, a daughter of the late Odina G. and Laurette (Routhier) Frechette, she had lived in Manchester, NH before moving to West Warwick in 1961.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Crompton where she was a member of the St. Mary's Society of Women and a volunteer for many years in the Parish cemetery office.
She is survived by her four sons Raymond G. Baker and his wife Janet of Suffolk, VA, Barry R. Baker and his wife Susan of Richmond, Michael A. Baker and his wife Karen of Virginia Beach, VA and Mark S. Baker of West Warwick; her daughter Nancy L. Baker of Narragansett and her seven grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Florence Cote of Berlin, NH.
Her family is remembering her as a loving person and loyal friend who also was a very faithful woman who truly had a servant's heart. Since her husband's death in 1997 her life revolved around her family, her faith and her church.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 9:00 AM from the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 66 Church Street, West Warwick at 10:00. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM.
