Carlisle, Pa. – CALVIN LEROY BAKER, SR., 64, of 245 West Willow Street, died Wednesday morning at Harrisburg Osteopathic Hospital. He was born in Hagerstown, a son of Alvey and Pearl Jackson Baker and was a pattern-maker for the Carlisle Shoe Company of Harrisburg.
He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and Mrs. Sweet Bible Class of the Sunday School.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Doris Irene Runkle Baker; sons, Calvin Jr., Carlisle, Phillip T., Palmyra, Pa.; Thomas T., at home; sister, Mrs. Lilian West, Los Angeles, Ca.; and four grandchildren.
Services were held at Grace United Methodist Church, Carlisle; burial was in Westminister Memorial Gardens; G.Book Roth Funeral Home, Carlisle was in charge of arrangements.
