Monday at the House of the
Good Samaritan where she
was admitted Thursday.
The funeral will be at 11
a.m. Wednesday at the
Cleveland-Spink Funeral
Home with Msgr. Robert J.
McCarthy, pastor of Holy
Family Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Glenwood
Cemetery.
Calling hours will be
from 7 to 9 this evening at
the Cleveland-Spink Funeral Home.
She is survived by her
husband, a patient in the
Samaritan-Keep Home;
two daughters. Mrs. Mary
Kusio, Port Gibson, and
Mrs. David (Jayne) Tremaine. Corning; three
grandchildren; three sisters. Mrs. Walter (Olive; St.
Clair, Manchester, N.H.,
Miss Anna Singleton, Glens
Falls, and Mrs. Mary
Heenan. Kalamazoo. Mich.,
and a brother. Jerry Singleton. Glens Falls.
Born at Glens Falls Feb.
12. 1904. a daughter of John
and Eileen Menahan Singleton, she was graduated
from St. Mary's Academy,
Glens Falls, in 1922. She
married George H. Baker
Aug. 12. 1930 at Glens
Falls. The couple moved to
Watertown in 1941
In 1964. Mr. Baker, who
had been associated with
the WW. Conde Hardware
Co.. purchased the Washington Street Plaza store of
Conde's. He operated Baker's Hardwares, Inc.. at
that location until the business was sold to Robert B
Bryant on March 1.
Mr. and Mrs. Baker had
maintained a summer
home at St. Lawrence
Park, Alexandria Bay.
Mrs. Baker was a member of Holy Family Church
