Mrs. John Ayle, aged 81 years 2 months, and 26 days, died at her home in Centre Township, following an illness due to advancing age. The deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Baker, and then her maiden ears was Catherine, and had resided in this county all her life. She was a member of the United Brethren church for many years.
She is survived by the following children; Harry, of Altoona; Annie, [Mrs. John Rhodemaker] of Centre Township; David, at home. Two brothers and two sisters also survive; Samuel Baker, of Centre Township; Theophilus Baker, Wheatfield Township, and Mrs. William Fry, of Chester, and Mrs. William Capp of Newport.
Funeral services were conducted in the United Brethren Church at New Bloomfield. Monday afternoon by Rev. B. P. S. Busey, pastor of the United Brethren Church of this place. Interment was made in the New Bloomfield Cemetery.
