BOB BAKER, 79, was born September 23, 1928 in Memphis to the late Louis Thomas and Janie Baker and died Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown. Hospital. Mr. Baker was in sales for Bell-South for 47 years, was a graduate of the University of Memphis, a member of Bellevue Baptist Church for 35 years, and was an Army veteran. A graveside service was held Friday, May 9, 2008 at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Southaven. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lois Baker of Memphis; one son, Bobby Baker of Memphis; one daughter, Alice Baker Fordham of Huntsville, AL; one sister, Jane Haney of Olive Branch, MS; and one grandchild, Heather Fordham.
