Mrs. Mollie Barnett of 713 West Market Street, Honey Grove, died at 2:45 o'clock Saturday afternoon May 23, 1964 in Marcom Hospital, Ladonia. She had been ill for the past two months.
The funeral Monday afternoon, May 25, at 2:30 o'clock was in McKenzie Methodist Church, with the pastor, the Rev. A. M. Davenport, Jr., as officiant. Cooper-Sorrells directed interment in Oakwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Robert Hayes, Johnny Avery, Dale Collins, Earl Collins, Clifton Wishard, and Louie Ray Melton.
She was first married to Walter Baker, the date was not available. He and their two children have preceded her in death.
A native of McMinville, Tenn., Mrs. Barnett was born March 15, 1875. Her parents were the late W. T. Hayes and Lovelle Woolridge Hayes.
She was married to N. E. Barnett on September 8, 1938. He died July 9, 1949.
Mrs. Barnett was a member of the McKenzie Methodist Church.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
