East Prairie - Mrs. Minnie Baker, 86 years old, of East Prairie, died Tuesday at the Sikeston Convalescent Home. She was born March 16, 1889, in Mississippi County.
The former Miss Griffith first married Luther Pritchett, who died in 1915. In 1917, she married Marvin Baker. He died Jan. 27, 1973.
A lifetime resident of Mississippi County, she was a member of the First Church of God here.
Surviving are sons, Howard Pritchett and Larry Baker; daughter, Mrs. J. C. Cowser; a sister, Mrs. Fannie Wheatley; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at Shelby Funeral Home here. Burial will be in the Dogwood Cemetery.
