Emma G. Baker, age 86 of Pennsylvania Avenue, Marion, died at 5:45 a.m. Monday at the Marion Manor Nursing Home.

Emma was born on December 5, 1919, in Amherst County, Virginia, to the late Edward Grady and Emma G.(Drumheller) Fulcher.

On September 3, 1939, in Green Up, Kentucky, she married her husband of 29 years Robert C. Baker, Sr. and he preceded her in death on December 16, 1968.

Emma was employed as an office clerk at Dresser Inc. and retired from Marion General Hospital.

Emma was a member of the Fairpark Baptist Church, the Marion Senior Center and she was a volunteer at Marion General Hospital.

Emma is survived by her two sons Robert C. (Anita) Baker, Jr. of Marion and Randall C. Baker of Ann Arbor, Michigan; Grandchildren Shelly (Peter) Mehl and her children Rachael and Maggie; Terri (Raymond) Haines and her children Jacob and Tyler; Ted (Janelle) Simmons and his child Kylee; Lori (Jeff) Augenstein and her children Carly and Halle; Barry Boyden; Emily Baker; Brad Boyden; Tracey (Ashley) Doyal and her children Emma Grace, Anne and Caroline; Nancy (Mike) Crosby and Kaitlyn, Lisa (John) Coulson and Brock, and a sister Nell Fulcher of Harvard, Illinois.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 5 Brothers and 2 Sisters, and a daughter and son-in-law Susie and Tom Boyden.
