EDNA V. BAKER
Edna Vada Baker, 82, of Victoria, died at 3:40 a.m. Wednesday in a Victoria hospital.
She was born June 2, 1902, in Edna to the late Henry Clay and Callie Ruth Ball Baker. A resident of Victoria for 56 years, she retired from Victoria Bank and Trust Co. after 39 years of service as a secretary. She was a former member of the national and international secretary associations. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Colonial Funeral Home chapel with Mr. Barry Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Stell Baker Leuschner of Corpus Christi.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be P. K. Stubblefield, G. C. Pittman, Roger C. Hamel Jr., Paul D. Pellegrino Jr., Berry Colvin, Marvin Salziger, Norvel McCauley and Laddie F. Janda.
Honorary pallbearers will be the director, officers and employees of Victoria Bank and Trust Co., including company retirees.
