Luella E. Bair (formerly of South Williamsport) died on Jan. 9, 2015, at the Valley View Nursing Home.

She married Lawrence O. Bair, of South Williamsport, on Feb. 7, 1948. They renewed their wedding vows on Jan. 3, 2015.
Pastor Kenneth Elkin officiated.
They were planning to celebrate their 67th wedding anniversary on Feb. 7, 2015.

Luella Emily Niermann was born in Osmond, Nebraska, Sept. 16, 1913. Her parents were Henry and Emilie (Stark) Niermann.

Luella graduated from Osmond High School in 1931.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence;
and children:
Cynthia L. Huff (Ray), Williamsport,
Nadine E. Wolfe (Dr. David), State College,
and David L. Bair, (Gail) Williamsport;

and a niece, Joan; and two nephews.

She is also survived by her grandchildren:
Jon Huff (Teresa), Wilmington, Dela.,
Kimberly Hufnagel (John), Corning, N.Y.,
Dr. Matthew Wolfe (Fiona), Rochester, N.Y.,
Daniel Wolfe, State College,
Kelly Allamaras (Damon), Williamsport,
and Dr. Michael Bair, Pensacola, Fla.;

and her great-grandchildren: Emily, Andrew and Colin Huff, Jacob and Benjamin Hufnagel, Landon and Cooper Allamaras, and Neil and Simon Wolfe.
They all knew her as Umma and loved her very much.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Edna, and two brothers, Elmer and Harry.

Luella was an active member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church for 37 years. She centered her life around her Lord and her family.
When she was surrounded by the members of her wonderful family, they were surrounded by her love.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 142 Market St., Williamsport. The service will follow at noon with her pastor, the Reverend Kenneth Elkin officiating.
Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery.

The family will provide the flowers.
